The AVIAN REHABILITATION FOUNDATION
was co-founded by Dr. Bob Zepecki
and Dr. Jack Jones in 1999.
The express purpose of this
Foundation
is to assist, where possible,
in the rescue and rehabilitation
of wild birds of all species.

The Foundation is currently in
the process of
building a large indoor aviary and
an outside
flight area for wild birds to recover
before they
are released back into the wild.

The Foundation has a long term goal
of establishing
a federal rehabilitation site for
the treatment of injured
raptors (eagles, falcons, etc.,) and
their eventual release
back into the environment.
The Hot Springs Village area is
located in the Ouachita mountains of
Arkansas. This region is ideally suited to
recovery and reintroduction as most species
of American raptors live here.

together with their choice of either a parakeet or love bird. Donors may
choose to remain anonymous. All Pet Center is now accepting birds for
