I guess you could call this the matter of sac, sac, where are the anal sacs.  Please note I was involved in healing the abscesses caused by Kaddy licking the sites.  Please also note that Mrs. White went from a very nice lady to a vengeful person, curiously after she revisited the VPC.  You may also note that I saw Kaddy at the VPC when I was employed there.  The first two comments on the original record are my scribblings.  So somebody infused two glands when only one was there, or somebody removed the remnants of two glands, or one gland, etc..  The very well-written complaint by Mrs. White looks suspiciously like someone else prepared the complaint for her (could this be a VPC advocate).  All vets have had surgeries that have not been successful.  What we do is fix them!!!!!

 

The contradictions in the records from both VPC and Dr. Nafes' records would give you pause.

 

Here is what I believe happened.   I removed two anal gland sacs but did not get all of the tissue.  One year later, approximately, there were complications from the surgical site(s).  Once an abscess fistulates, or opens, healing is quick.  Many infected anal glands heal this way, cheating the surgeon so to speak.  So the left area had healed and no longer was an issue.  The right side could have been easily corrected in the same way.  Infusing both anal sacs was not possible since there was only the remnant of one, if at all.  The actual documents and case files are copied below.  So you make the decision.
